Volunteer Management Training

Sligo Volunteer Centre run regular Volunteer Management Training for not for Profit Organisations

 

The 4 VMT modules are designed by Volunteer Ireland and delivered in a hands-on, participative style by SVC. They are designed to provide participants with a Best Practice Framework for involving volunteers in their organisation. The training covers the following topics:

Module 1:  How to plan and get ready for volunteer involvement

Module 2: Best practice for recruitment, selection and induction of volunteers 

Module 3: Day to day management, support and supervision of volunteers

Module 4: To give participants the knowledge and tools to design and implement a volunteer policy

Who is it for? VMT is aimed at those individuals responsible for directly dealing with & managing volunteers or those organisations with volunteer structures that need development or wish to develp best practice volunteer management frameworks for their groups/organisations.
