Fall in love with Volunteering this Autumn

 Hi there,

After a disappointing wet summer we have moved into autumn, the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. As we cross our fingers for an indian summer, why not have a look through the many wonderful roles on our website www.volunteersligo.ie

Something a little bit different: Sligo in Song-Be part of a unique choir of volunteers! We are on a mission to support a 'major celebration of Sligo in song'. We are inviting a minimum of 15 people from across the Voluntary & Community Sector to join Sligo Volunteers Centres Choir that will be nurtured and coached by the Hawkswell Theatre Choirmasters. Time is of the essence and we are hoping to have our full choir of 15 in place in the next few days. Please contact us asap if you wish to join us - 071 9111042

Thanks: Fleadh 2015 volunteers It was great supporting and working with the Fleadh on their two very successful years of hosting the Fleadh in Sligo. Anne Gorby and her Team of Volunteers worked tirelessly and with such generosity of spirit,in making this years Fleadh again such an unforgettable success. Up to 2,000 volunteers got involved and volunteers contributed enormously to the welcome people encountered, helping out in every way possible. You did volunteering proud; "'the one thing that stood out and people commented on was the volunteers'". Volunteers acted as “street ambassadors, shop volunteers, media and admin support volunteers, green Fleadh volunteers, along with manning car parks, camp sites and competition venues ensuring that visitors were made feel welcome and had a memorable and enjoyable experience. You bring a wealth of experience and for those of you who did the training we invite you to maybe get involved in other short term or Festival volunteer roles that are coming up. Please take a look at our Website www.volunteersligo.ie or phone 071-9111042
