2020 was a challenging year for us all. However, despite all that was thrown at us – it managed to be a very successful
and impactful year.
We engaged with many people who wanted to get involved in the response to COVID 19.
There was not a route for all of these people to get involved, as much volunteering was done informally and through existing community networks. We were very heartened by the willingness of people to volunteer and to help out others. Here is a snapshot of our work with volunteers in 2020:
In 2020 we supported many Volunteer Involving groups around moving their activities online, or maintaining their services safely. It was a challenging time for many as they grappled with the situation and we were delighted to move our supports online and increase our facilitated group networking sessions.

Of course, activities happened in 2020 that were not planned or foreseen at the beginning of the year. We were delighted to be able to adapt and respond to the situation and to serve the community. Here are some of the services we offered in response to COVID 19.
