Step 1: Register your Organisation

• This is a one-time registration process.
• On approval you will receive an ‘Organisation Key’ (number code) which you will then use to register your volunteer opportunities.

Step 2: Register your Volunteer Opportunities

• Using your Organisation Key to access this page. The form will take you step by step through your Volunteer Opportunity details.

We proactively advertise your vacancy and aim to promote it to suitable volunteers. For Short Term and Once Off Opportunities we operate a Text List, which we send to 150+ people who have expressed interest in these roles. The text is sent in the days leading up to the event/fundraiser with a call to contact the organisation seeking volunteers. We are very active on Facebook and Twitter, through which we also promote your opportunities.

Step 3: Keeping in Touch

We ask that you keep in touch with us and inform of us of changes to your role/organisation such as:

• When you are no longer seeking volunteers
• Details of role(s) change
• Key contact people change.

We also ask that you let us know what volunteer referrals have been successful as we use this information to build up a picture of volunteering in Sligo. It also is something that we feed back to our funders and contributes to a national picture on volunteering.
